Dr. Huang is Associate Professor of Public Administration and Population Health (Secondary Appointment) at UNM. He received his Ph.D. in Management from the University of Arizona in 2005. His research uses organization theory and network analysis to study networks in the public and nonprofit sector, e.g., team networks, network structure, governance, evolution and resilience. His articles appeared in Journal of Public Administration Research and Theory, Public Administration Review, Public Management Review, Journal of Comparative Policy Analysis Research and Practice, Social Science and Medicine, and National Civic Review. His network evaluation was funded by Third Sector New England, National Science Foundation and the UNM President’s Grand Challenge Initiative. He is a member of American Society of Public Administration and Public Management Research Association. He is the recipient of the 2023 Christopher Pollitt Prize for Best Paper in the International Research Society for Public Management  Annual Conference and 2009 Beryl Radin Award for Best Article in Journal of Public Administration Research and Theory.
