National Honor Society for Public Affairs and Administration
The purposes of Pi Alpha Alpha are to encourage and recognize the outstanding scholarship and accomplishment in public affairs and administration, to promote the advancement of education and practice in the art and science of public affairs and administration, and to foster integrity, professionalism, and creative performance in the conduct of governmental and related public and health service activities.
Membership
Membership is limited to those who demonstrate academic achievement and/or outstanding public service.
Eligibility
Students and alumni who have completed 21 hours of course work at UNM leading to a Master's Degree in Public Administration or Health Administration and who have a cumulative grade point average of 3.7 or better are eligible for membership to Pi Alpha Alpha.
Membership Dues
There is a one-time lifetime membership fee of $65.00. Please make your check or money order payable to the School of Public Administration.
Deadline
The application deadline is January 31st of each year. Return the completed Pi Alpha Alpha application and a copy of your transcript to:
