I was very blessed in my life to have parents who always instilled in me and my brothers the concept of "striving for a good education." So, I always valued the idea from early childhood and still do into my adult life. Because I was fortunate enough to obtain that education, I believe that we must give back to our community, and in this case, our school. In other words, I believe that we reap what we sow.
The School of Public Administration, UNM, my family, my friends and my experiences have made me who I am today, and for this opportunity I am grateful every day of my life. I can only hope that through my donation another individual's life will change as mine has to gain that solid education. This is the reason I give to UNM and the School. Through giving I hope to someday positively affect someone's life, and keep the opportunity for New Mexico's children to gain an education alive.
