Dr. Shuyang Peng
Dr. Shuyang Peng is an Assistant Professor in the School of Public Administration at The University of New Mexico. Her research focuses on public and nonprofit management, human resource management, and performance measurement. She is particularly interested in the influence of organizational environment on employee motivation and behavior in public and nonprofit organizations. She also conducts research in the areas of public-nonprofit collaboration, performance information use, and leadership. Her articles have appeared in Public Administration Review and Public Performance & Management Review. She is a fellow of the Center for Organizational Research and Design at Arizona State University.
Dr. Peng was awarded a 2017 UNM Research Allocation Committee (RAC) grant of $9000 for her research, “An Experimental Study of Dishonest Behavior in Public and Private Workforces."
